If you have not seen the announcement today, after 30+ years in business, Coastal Vacations has officially closed it’s doors, effective immediately. They cited the reasons as being Covid, flooding at the shipping center, vendors going out of business, changes in the industry and illness of some of the key players. I am just as shocked and devastated as I am sure you are. I never thought there would be a day that Coastal didn’t exist, but that is where we are. Many businesses have closed their doors since Covid, and I guess Coastal is just one more casualty.

I am so very grateful for all of you and for the amazing relationships I have enjoyed through this business. Being part of such an amazing organization for the past 23+ years has been a huge blessing in my life, and I am thankful for the friendships and connections I get to keep from this experience. I have loved working with all of you, and I treasure the memories.

There was a post earlier today mentioning a new program in the works for the future and asking everyone to private message them for details… please be advised that is NOT Coastal-endorsed, but simply one of the directors who is creating something else of their own and marketing it to anyone who might be interested in getting into another travel business down the road. That director has control of the Coastal Vacations Facebook page and will be changing the name and posts to reflect their new business eventually. That is not something I am involved with, so I do not have any details about the development of that business or how that program would work.
